CoolSculpting®It so happens that, despite a strict exercise regime and proper dieting, certain fat deposits on your body can refuse to go away. While there are a number of invasive treatments designed to help eliminate stubborn fat, CoolSculpting® offers a unique, non-invasive option for Body Fat Removal.

CoolSculpting® Procedure for Removing Body Fat

  • The theory: An advanced technology called Cryolipolysis is used in this method. This procedure involves cooling down the targeted areas and then breaking the fat cells, which can then be removed easily. The surrounding tissues are left unharmed. The principle behind the procedure is that fat cells are more responsive to cold than their surrounding tissues. The treatment starts a natural process of fat removal in your body that carries on for a number of months after the conclusion of the procedure.
  • The procedure: An applicator is placed on the area to be treated, which cools down the fat cells. Applicator cups help in creating a vacuum pressure to draw the required region in between the applicator’s cooling panels. The duration of the session is at least two hours and may extend depending on the size of the target area. The broken down fat cells are naturally removed by your body through metabolic processes. A gradual reduction in fat content can be seen after the treatment over a time period of a few months. Results will be visible from two to four months after the procedure and may last for as long as six months.
  • Side effects: The advantage of a non invasive procedure like CoolSculpting is that there are significantly lesser complications and side effects than in more traditional or invasive procedure. Some effects that you may feel, and which will disappear within a few days, include bruising, redness or lessened sensation in the treated areas.
