Project Description

Stelara is a new prescription medication used to treat moderate to severe psoriasis in patients over the age of 18. Instead of just targeting skin areas affected with psoriasis, Stelara targets the entire immune system to slow down the production of skin cells and reduce inflammation. It is injected into the skin by Dr. Balle, who will determine the dosage and frequency of medication depending on each patient’s individual condition. Most patients receive a 75% reduction of symptoms after 12 weeks of use, with results maintained for over a year with continued use. Stelara targets scaling, redness and thickness caused by psoriasis with proven safety and effectiveness.
