David S. Balle, M.D., is a highly respected Board-Certified Dermatologist and a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has a well-established private practice at Grosse Pointe Dermatology and Cosmetic Center. Dr. Balle graduated with honors from Wayne State University School of Medicine and served as Chief Resident at the Henry Ford Hospital Department of Dermatology in Detroit, under the guidance of Chairman, Dr. Edward Krull and Chairman Emeritus, Dr. Clarence Livingood.

In addition to his expertise in general dermatology, Dr. Balle specializes in Aesthetic Dermatology, with a particular focus on injectables and dermal fillers. His skill as an expert injector has earned him national recognition, and he is a highly sought-after physician trainer for the industry's top brands, including:

• - Allergan: Botox, Juvederm Collection of Fillers including Skinvive, Kybella
• - Galderma: Dysport, Restylane Family of Fillers including Eyelight, Sculptra

Dr. Balle is on the medical staff of Corewell Health (Beaumont) Grosse Pointe Hospital. He maintains active membership with the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the Michigan Dermatological Society.

Most recently, Dr. Balle has been awarded as a 2023 Hour Detroit Magazine TOP DOC in Dermatology (his 11th time recognized). For this distinction, physicians across Southeast Michigan were asked to nominate and vote for fellow physicians they deemed the best in their field of practice.

Dr Balle is an exercise enthusiast and enjoys spending free time with his family, friends, and Rhodesian Ridgeback, Stella. He supports local non-profits including The Grosse Pointe Chamber of Commerce (member) and Foundation (Chairman), Covenant House Michigan, The Michigan Opera Theater, The Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and various other schools, community organizations, and philanthropic causes. He has also been elected to the Grosse Pointe Farms Foundation Board of Trustees. Dr. Balle has also enjoyed serving the community as a former producer and host of the medical talk show “In a Heartbeat” on Comcast WMTV, Channel 5 and At&T U-Verse.

Dr. Meredith Price, born and raised in Grosse Pointe, MI, is a Board-Certified Dermatologist, focusing on complex medical, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology. She graduated from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor with a degree in Cell and Molecular Biology in 2005, followed by a medical doctorate at Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2009. While there, she received the School of Medicine Faculty Endowed Scholarship (2006-2008) and the Janet Glasgow Memorial Achievement Citation in 2009.

Dr. Price completed her internship at St. John Hospital and residency in dermatology at Wayne State University, where she served as Chief Resident. Throughout residency she was active in research endeavors and presented at Michigan Dermatologic Society, American Academy of Dermatology, and Cosmetic Surgery Forum meetings.

Dr. Price is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a Diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, and a member of the Michigan Board of Dermatology.

What Dr. Price loves most about being a dermatologist is utilizing her many years of education and experience to help patients dealing with the complex skin conditions. When we see improvement in the skin, it brings a joy and lightness back to the patient which she finds very rewarding. She cherishes her strong ties to the community and it warms her heart when patients refer their family and friends to her.

Dr. Price is married and has two little girls. She loves playing tennis, travel, photography, and simply enjoying good times with family and friends.
